"Disaster Prevention and Mitigation" Symposium 2019-"Information" and "action" save lives-".

Although the event was held at four venues nationwide, the event in Yokohama in October was postponed to January 22, 2020 due to the effect of a typhoon, and our staff members have also participated.

We were able to obtain useful information such as initiatives for the realistic Nankai Trough earthquake and disaster prevention, and regional disaster prevention to save lives by using emergency earthquake bulletins and tsunami warnings. In particular, the story of panelist Yu Hiroi was particularly impressive.

What do you do when all disasters come?
When asked, it was said that only about one in 1,000 people assumed their own death or injury.
Indeed, I tended to assume that I would do this for my family and the community, and evacuate here.

First of all, I raised my awareness that the disaster was myself, not only fixing evacuation places, food and beverages, furniture, but also taking a step further and thinking about the importance of talking about the information that I should share with my family firmly .

Is there a lot of things that only your family knows about your child's illness, allergies, hospitals and insurance?

Just recently, on January 24, the National Earthquake Investigation Commission announced the probability of an earthquake as of January 1. Also, the probability of a tsunami of 3m or more due to the Nankai Trough earthquake was announced for the first time.

Right now, I have realized that it is a reality that everyone must seriously consider disaster prevention as "oneself".
